NASA and SpaceX Reschedule Falcon 9 Launch for Friday
NASA and SpaceX have rescheduled the Falcon 9 rocket launch for Friday, March 14, after postponing the mission twice due to technical and weather-related issues.
The Crew-10 mission to the International Space Station (ISS) was initially set to launch on Wednesday but was delayed due to a hydraulic system issue with a ground support clamp at Launch Complex 39A, Kennedy Space Center, Florida. A second launch attempt on Thursday, March 13, was also scrubbed due to high winds and precipitation along the flight path.
New Launch Schedule
NASA and SpaceX now target a launch no earlier than 7:03 p.m. EDT on Friday, March 14.
Crew-10 Astronauts Onboard
The mission will carry four astronauts to the ISS:
- Anne McClain (NASA)
- Nichole Ayers (NASA)
- Takuya Onishi (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency)
- Kirill Peskov (Roscosmos, Russia)
They will join NASA’s Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, who have been aboard the ISS for nine months, to take over their Crew-9 mission and assist in their return to Earth.
Stay tuned for updates on this critical space mission!
